Thus if you're requesting $100 from your roommate for utilities, $0.10 will go to SmartMarket. If you're requesting $5 for a cab fare, $0.10 will still go to SmartMarket.
Q: What are SmartRegister's processing fees?
A: Like PayMe, SmartRegister charges $0.10 per transaction when your customers pay via their mobile device. Whether the total bill is $75 or $15 SmartMarket will receive $0.10 paid by you, the owner of SmartRegister.
Q: Why must I have a PayPal account to use PayMe?
A: While we continue to build in our own security measures we've partnered with PayPal to provide you the maximum level of protection possible. Security is our utmost concern so we want to ensure that none of your information is compromised.
Q: What happens if I make a payment through PayMe and I don't have enough money in my PayPal account?
A: If you overdraft from your PayPal account, funds will be taken directly from the bank account you have linked to PayPal. If you haven't linked a bank account to PayPal then the credit card that you registered with PayPal when you signed up will be charged.
Q: When I receive a payment through PayMe or SmartRegister where does my money go?
A: All funds received via PayMe or SmartRegister will be deposited into your PayPal account. You can then transfer those funds to your bank account by visiting PayPal online.
Q: What is the maximum amount of money I can send or receive using PayMe?
A: You can send or receive up to $999.99. We have capped the maximum transaction level at this value for security purposes. The same is true for SmartRegister.
Q: Can I use PayMe or SmartRegister internationally?
A: Yes, you can use both PayMe and SmartRegister anywhere your iPhone or iPad has access to a WiFi, 3G, or 4G network.
